Catherine Backhouse (Mezzo), Alexa Beattie (Viola) and Elspeth Wyllie (Piano) champion the wonderful repertoire for voice, viola and piano. They offer thoughtful, engaging programmes, bringing freshness and life to a flexible repertoire of music from the classics, to dance and cabaret, to Burns.
The programme includes Lute Songs by John Dowland, and Britten’s Lachrymae for viola and piano which was inspired by Dowland.
