Event - Youth Music Initiative workshops, East Lothian

The Amalie Trio spend a week in East Lothian, visiting primary schools with a workshop about Chamber Music – its drama and origins, and the skills required.
Participating primary schools:
Ormiston, Gullane, Aberlady, Pinkie St Peters, Dunbar, Innerwick, Kings Meadow, West Barnes
Repertoire included:
Johannes Brahms – Zwei Gesange (no 1) Op.91
William Bolcom – ‘When great trees fall’ from Let Evening Come
Charles Loeffler – ‘Dansons la gigue’ from Quatre Poemes Op.5
